Overview

When I came into the project the initial UX and Architecture of the site had been completed. I was to focus on the UI as well as any visual design flourishes to the site, whether that be page transitions, sm,all illustration and icons or something like animations.



Working with Vitro's Creative and Art Directors I was able to slowly develop a style that was clean, simple, elegant and focused on showing what was important, the Agency's legendary work.



One of the challenges was to subtly incorporate Vitro's pirate attitude while never over-doing it. Think less "Arrrrgh" and a more modern, take-no-prisoners attitude ("WE STEAL SHARE"). Dark black water, touches of bright yellow on black, and a light sprinkling of skullbadasserycover the site to accomplish this.
